Delivery
From January 2022 we will no longer dispatch outside of the United Kingdom. This is due to the greatly increased expense of Customs Charges / Taxes which results in nearly all orders being returned. Our Orders are dispatched using Royal Mail, or Courier. Starlight Dancewear will not be liable for the cost of re-delivery if there is no one in to accept your order . If & where possible, please advise us of an alternative delivery address.
Goods are generally dispatched within 2 – 5 working days
Stocked items
We normally try to dispatch orders within 24 hours of receipt of order. You will always receive your goods within seven (7) days.
Back orders & Out of Stock items
If any item is not in stock we shall inform you and place it on back order & dispatch as soon as available. Should delivery of the back ordered items not be possible, we shall contact the customer & offer an alternative product or a full refund.
Non-delivery
To advise us on of non-delivery of goods please notify us via email (elaine@starlightdancewear.co.uk) within seven (7) days, otherwise goods are deemed to have arrived. Email notification of non-delivery is acceptable providing this is sent to us from the contact email address used to place your original order.
Returns perfect goods **
Under Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, as a customer you have a statutory 'cooling off' period of 14 days from the date you purchased your goods and the date that will be on your invoice enclosed with your goods. Goods Returned after the 14 days are subject to 30% restocking charge under the distance selling rules.
Returns policy
Please ensure that you return your item (s) in a re-saleable condition and within 14 days of purchasing. In the original packaging and with labels still attached.
All items being returned for an exchange or refund must be sent postage paid. This is why we recommend you ensure the correct size is ordered at the checkout.
We recommend using Royal Mail signed for service to ensure the parcel arrives safely back to us. Starlight Dancewear cannot be responsible for parcels sent standard and that get lost in transit.
All items returned need to be paid at your own cost.
For hygiene reasons we cannot accept for return- Tights, underwear, socks, hair nets, hair pins and hair grips.
You must Download the returns form and enclose it with your return .Return delivery costs back to Starlight Dancewear shall be borne by you, the customer. Items will not be accepted without the returns form being completed and enclosed. Please put on the company name Starlight Dancewear and then send back to the address on the form.
CLICK HERE FOR RETURNS FORM Please understand the goods you are retunring must be in the same condition as you received them, tags still on, hygiene labels still on, In original packaging and packaging should not be in an unsellable state i.e. boxes torn or damaged and fabric and soles of shoes should be unmarked.
We cannot accept the return if:
- Items returned after 14 days from the original invoice date.
- Items not in their original condition and packaging undamaged
- Items that have been worn.
- Incorrectly washed garments.
- Sale item
